Hi everyone, I just heard over the weekend, via Shawn Waggoner, that Bob Fuerstenau has completed the conversion of his pickup truck and now has it running. A hearty congratulations to Bob on his new EV!!!
And while I'm at it, I would also like to give a belated congratulations to Jerry Wagner of Melbourne, who completed the conversion of his Chevy S10 back in January in time to show it at the Florida EAA's Battery Beach Burnout event and the 6th Annual National EAA Conference! Very nice job Jerry!!! Oh, and last but not least, congratulations also go to Steve Clunn on the completion of his dual-motor electric Porsche 912 tire-screeching-and-smoking race car!!! Hope I haven't forgotten anyone else. I think it's important that we recognize these outstanding achievements of our members who complete their conversions and put new EVs on the road! Every single new EV we put on the road here in Florida is a great triumph!
