Hi Everyone,
Bill Bucolo of the St. Petersburg Sierra Club Chapter is organizing a
showing of "Who Killed the Electric Car?" for their chapter on Saturday May
19 and would like to know if anyone from the Florida EAA could come and show
an electric car and speak and answer questions after the movie.
I'm going to tell Bill that I myself will not be able to make it because it
would take me 3 days of driving and charging to get my RAV4-EV all the way
to St. Petersburg. But if we have any members over there in the Tampa/St.
Pete area, maybe you'd be interested in this. I believe Cap'm Woody has an
EV over there in St. Petersburg. Got your ears on, Cap'm?
Or maybe Shawn with the plug-in Prius?

We are going ahead with an event on Saturday, May 19, from around 6 to 10
PM, and expect a few around 50 or more people to come by and see the movie
and any cars, collateral materials or displays we can provide.
Would you, or someone from the FEAA, care to be our guest for the evening
and show us your car and perhaps speak and answer questions for a short
while that evening? I'm sure we can help some with expenses and find you a
clean room to stay in overnight if you or someone is interested.
