We're trying to get a final vehicle count of EVs that will be participating
in the SunDay Challenge event at FSEC in Cocoa and FIT in Melbourne on
Sat-Mon October 6-8 so that we can finalize charging setups at both FSEC and
FIT. In response to my FLEAA list post (below) on September 10 asking for a
head count, this is what we've got so far in terms of EVs that have
confirmed participation in the event:
Electric Mini Cooper, Bruce Chesson, NASA-KSC
Electric Chevy S10, Jerry Wagner, Melbourne
Electric pickup truck, Steve Clunn, Grassroots EV, Ft. Pierce
Electric motorcycle, Jeff Patterson, Patterson Cycles, Jupiter
AC Propulsion eBox, Andrew Roddy, Palm Beach
Electric Porsche 959, Paul Liddle, EVPorsche.com, W. Palm Beach
Lithium-powered Porsche 911, Paul Liddle, EVPorsche.com, W. Palm Beach
Toyota RAV4-EV, Charles Whalen, Delray Beach (looking someone to drive the
vehicle in the events)

EVs apparently not attending SunDay Challenge event:

There's still time to register your participation in the event, so if you
haven't yet done so, please let me know ASAP if you're planning to bring an
EV.
