The Electric Imp will be running this Saturday and Sunday at Moroso
Motorsports Park in West Palm Beach, Florida.

We have just completed some fairly radical surgery on the car, removing the
stock Subaru radiator from the front of the car and replacing it with a
aluminum racing radiator positioned in the back of the car.

This allows the coldest air to be taken from the front of the car and
channeled through the battery stacks. The air flow goes on to the rear of
the car where it passes through the radiator which is cooling the inverters
and the motors. Finally the air exhausts into the low pressure zone directly
behind the car.

At least, that is the theory. We will see how well it works this weekend.

Our battery cooling has been fine at the 300 and 400 amp current levels that
we have been racing at but this weekend we have some shorter races. This
means we should be able to run 500 amps, or even 600 amps.

Saturday schedule is morning qualifying followed by an afternoon 10 lap
(22.5 miles) race. Sunday will be a 14 lap (31.5 miles) race in the morning
and a 5 lap (11.25 miles) race in the afternoon.

Everyone is welcome. More information at
