On page 27 of US News & World Report this week: 'Volt -maybe a new era in 
cars' (title paraphrased.)

     Aside from critical comments oin battery weight, cost and ealry stage of 
development, the article is quite positive. I've written a letter regarding the 
speculations that FCV or cellulosic ethanol pose early threats to the Volt's 
power.

     As interesting to me, page 21 was a full-page ad for investment in Hybrid 
Technologies (HYBT), touting EVs' acceleration, range, reliability, low cost to 
drive and zero emissions.

     I subscribe to USN&WR and consider it to be the most authoritative news 
weekly widely read by Americans. I'm especially encouraged by growing 
indications of financial interest in EV-related companies.
