Coconut Grove
-----------------
Miami City Hall
3500 Pan American Drive
Miami, FL 33133

This is where the event is being held with Chelsea Sexton on Friday, April
11 from 5pm to 9pm. There are two 50A 208-250V outlets here that are having
their power switched on and made available to us from Thursday morning
through Sunday noon.

1) CS-6365C, 50A 208V
Access: 24 hours a day, Thursday 4/10 through Sunday noon 4/13.
This first outlet is on the traffic circle in front of Miami City Hall,
directly facing the front door of Miami City Hall. The outlet is on the
back side of a low (about 18-inch high) wall just behind the parking
spaces there on the circle. The outlet is located just behind the fire
hydrant, on the back side of the low wall there. You should park in the
space labeled as "Loading Zone", with a sign there that says "No Parking,
Loading Zone Only". (We have permission to park there and use that space to
charge our cars from Thursday through Sunday.) This space is immediately in
front of (and just slightly counter-clockwise to) the outlet, behind the
wall there. Your charging cable will only need to make about a 20 foot run
from your car parked in that space (marked "Loading Zone") to the outlet.
If any policeman or City Hall security officer gives you a hard time about
being parked in that space marked "Loading Zone", politely tell them that
you have permission to be parked there in that space (in order to charge
your electric car) from: 1) Miami City Commissioner Marc Sarnoff (who is
hosting and sponsoring the weekend EV event with Chelsea Sexton), 2)
Commissioner Sarnoff's Chief of Staff, Ron Nelson (office: 305-250-5334,
cell: 305-281-2649, [EMAIL PROTECTED]), and 3) Chuck Postis,
Superintendent of Property Maintenance, General Services Administration
(office: 305-329-4736, cell: 786-999-5488, [EMAIL PROTECTED]).

2) CS-6365C, 50A 250V
Access: 24 hours a day, Thursday 4/10 through Sunday noon 4/13.
The second outlet being designated and assigned for our EV charging use is
on the second power-pedestal on the seawall pier immediately adjacent to
Miami City Hall on the northeast side of the building. The first
power-pedestal on the seawall pier on the east-northeast side of the
building has got a boat called "The Beast" docked adjacent to it; "The
Beast" does not have any power cables connected to that first
power-pedestal. But that first power-pedestal, which is actually
east-northeast of the building, is not the one that has been assigned for
our EV charging use. We're supposed to use the second power-pedestal (which
is actually directly northeast of the building) on that seawall pier. That
second power-pedestal has got a boat called "Carried Away" docked adjacent
to it. "Carried Away" has a power cable connected to this power-pedestal on
the northwest side of power-pedestal. But there is nothing, no boat,
connected to the 50A 250V CS-6365C outlet on the southeast side of this
power-pedestal, and that is outlet we have been designated and assigned to
use for charging our cars. Please do *NOT* park your car in the very
narrow, single-lane road (which goes around the Miami City Hall building)
next to the outlet and seawall pier there, because your car would block the
flow of traffic. Pull your car up on the wide sidewalk alongside the
seawall pier and that outlet there. The sidewalk is plenty wide to park
your car there. You must stay with your car during the entire time that you
charge there at this outlet on the seawall pier. If one of the marina
security officers comes up and gives you a problem about being parked on the
sidewalk there, politely tell him that you have permission to be parked
there on the sidewalk (in order to charge your electric car) from: 1) the
Marinas Manager, Stephen Bogner (office: 305-579-6950, cell: 305-989-9674,
[EMAIL PROTECTED]), 2) Miami City Commissioner Marc Sarnoff (who is
hosting and sponsoring the weekend EV event with Chelsea Sexton), and 3)
Commissioner Sarnoff's Chief of Staff, Ron Nelson (office: 305-250-5334,
cell: 305-281-2649, [EMAIL PROTECTED]).

I have 10-30 female to CS-6365C male plug adaptors for both of these outlets
at Miami City Hall and the adjacent seawall pier that I will have on hand
and make available to anyone needing to charge there. I am conveniently
staying at a hotel just 4 blocks (about a 10-minute walk, or 2-minute drive
in my RAV4-EV) away from Miami City Hall, from Thursday afternoon through
10am Saturday morning. So all you have to do is call me on my cell phone
(561-251-2387) if I am not there at City Hall, and I will come over and
bring my plug adaptors. Please note that the Neutral and Ground wiring
configurations are slightly different on the two respective outlets (the one
at the traffic circle in front of City Hall vs. the one at the seawall
pier), so they require slightly differently wired plug adaptors, which I
have taken care of. Basically all you need to have on your charging cable
is the ability to plug into a 10-30 standard dryer outlet, and I'll have you
covered for these two outlets at Miami City Hall.

Please note that I will not have any email access from Thursday through
Saturday night. The only way I can be reached is on my cell phone at
561-251-2387.

Finally, ***VERY IMPORTANTLY***, please note that Fairchild Tropical Garden
in Coral Gables, where Saturday's event with Chelsea Sexton is being held,
does not have any charging capability there. So we have to do all our
weekend charging in Miami either at Miami City Hall or at Allan Miller's
house. It's a driving distance of 5 and a half miles from Miami City Hall
to Fairchild Tropical Garden.
