Whoops. When I reread my previous message I realized that I had left something important out. I *meant* to say that an EV from the factory that only has a range of 40 miles is a dumbed-down EV. If those of us who do not have the astronomical money of the big automakers can turn out an EV with a range of 40 miles, that is a wonderful feat. As Lee Hart often quotes Leonard Cohen "Ring the bells that still can ring. Forget the perfect offering. There is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in." That feels better now.
