I totally agree, John.  Just my commute to work for 40 miles PROVES this.  I
drive an ICE (the hybrid the wife keeps ;( )  80 miles a day.  I never go
over 55 and try to stay at 50 even on 275 in tampa.  I  slow down for the
red lights, cuz whats the point of rushing to just stop at the light?  I am
tailgated, mocked (I can see them in the mirror making all kinds of hand
gestures), and treated like an abnormality.  By driving this way I get 30
miles per gallon.  If I drive the way they are driving I get 20 mpg.  It
really looks like gas needs to get to 10 dollars a gallon before people with
finally slow down to conserve fuel or seriously consider EVs.
