michael, louis and all,
i read all the info from the finnish site about conversion of Corollas to
electric, using a co-op to "mass" purchase the necessary parts. since we know
that big auto makers know that EV development is an ultra disruptive technology
for their profit model, we cannot depend on them to sincerely make steps toward
mass produced EVs. but we, the people, can do that by buying together. i want
to be a part of this, too!
we could appeal to our nat'l eaa to try to see how many promissory purchases
could be recorded, then go from there. what do you think? fran sullivan-fahs
