You cant create a new database - but you can specify that the existing database
will grow into a separate file. That is done in SQL

Subject: [OzMOSS] Adding Content Databases

Guys

Excuse me if this is a dumb question, but, if i have a moss installation that
has a rather large database and i want to be able to add another databse (easy)
how then do i ensure that new content or specified content sits in that
database and that my original one wont continue to grow.

I would also like to be able to do this with a services installtion that has
grown out of site and the 4gb slq-e database just wont cope long term, could i
not just add another sql(full) content database? again same question as above
would apply.

Cheers
