Hi, I am having security issue with creating SharePoint application site.
When I create application using the "Central Administration" |"Application Management" create new application option. The site is created successfully. Note: I am using "Network Service" account for service identity and NTLM authentication, anonymous user is not allowed. This is also used for the default SharePoint site. The problem is that it uses port 80 and hence the default website is stopped. I am trying to create another site so that I can reanimate the default website. What needs to be dome to fix it? Furthermore, simply changing the port on the default site doesn't work. Which security setting it is actually looking at that needs to be modified?
