Has anyone created a custom Edit Details page (to replace the
EditProfile.aspx)? I found Ishai's blog entry about fixing up the
display of the sections within the page however there doesn't seem to be
much else out there on customising this page
(http://www.sharepoint-tips.com/2006/12/fixing-sections-bug-in-edit-user
.html).

Our client would prefer to have the Edit Details page split across
several pages, one per profile section. The classes used on the
EditProfile.aspx page are all marked 'for internal use' and don't seem
to offer a method for only displaying a sub-set of properties. I
realise that it is possilble to show/hide properties on the page using
the User Profile Property configuration and/or the properties of the
ProfileEditor class but this doesn't permit displaying only a section at
a time.

As an aside, if I can ask you directly Ishai, I've set the parameters as
per your blog entry except ShowOnlyVisibleOnView and ShowOnlyEditable
are set to "true" however there are a number of blank lines that appear
in some of the sections. They correspond to user profile properties
that are not editable, so therefore are supposed to be hidden by setting
the ShowOnlyEditable property of the ProfileEditor class to be "true".
Instead there is a blank line where the property would be. I've
reviewed the profile property configuration and none have "Show on the
Edit Details page" option checked and therefore should be hidden. Did
you find this problem too?

Thanks,
David.
