You can always reset the page back to definition with sharepoint designer. That
makes it go to what it was when the survey was first created.

Thanks for your help...

Found out it was nothing to do with permissions.
I am not sure what they did but they edited page and closed the webpart and
for some reason the menu bar at top with respond to survey, Actions and
Settings where not there... I added the closed web part and the menu was
there..... I then removed webpart with no menu...

Cheers

If you are farm administrator, go to central admin, under application settings
click on policy for web application, and add a policy that you have full
control over the web application. That way you go around all the site specific
settings, and force to give you full access to anything in that application.

Subject: [OzMOSS] Permissions please help

Hello all,

I have created a subsite and subsequently added a survey to the sub site....
and have then given full control for the survey administrator (thinking that
they would know what to do).
But alas they have removed all persons with edit access including themselves
and myself as site administrator.... and all I can do now is do the survey but
not edit.... or change settings....

I am also a farm administrator etc etc....

but cannot seem to find a way to get into settings to change or reset
permissions.... Can anyone help please.....
