Subject: [OzMOSS] MOSS audiences

Morning all,

I have a confusing problem with audiences this morning, that I'm sure will have
a pretty basic answer, even if it eludes me.

I have a web part on the front page of the intranet site, that uses an audience
to target it to a select few employees. The audience is set to include users
who satisfy all the rules, and the only rule is the user must be a member of a
specific AD group.

This all works fine, until I remove a user from the AD group. I can recompile
the audience as often as I want, and yet he remains a member (when checking
view membership). I can delete the rule and recompile (gives me 0 members),
read the rule and recompile, and the removed user is still there.

I've double and triple checked that he is no longer in the AD group, and yet he
remains in the audience.

Any suggestions?
