Marten, 1. Page Layouts are pointing to the file system? What do you mean? It sounds from what you say that they are in the master pages library, which is not in the file system. 2. Where are you deploying that gif to? A Sharepoint site or the file system? Hey devs, I am creating a few features to deploy the following through a solution: a.. ContentTypes b.. Images c.. XSL, CSS, etc d.. MasterPages e.. PageLayouts f.. ListTemplates g.. ContentTypeBindings I've noticed that updates are simply not happening. I understand the issue with customization, but nothing is customized. e.g when I deploy a solution with an image say logo.gif, that logo.gif stays the same no matter how many versions of the solution i redeploy with different logo.gif s. PageLayouts seem to update fine as they are pointing to the file system (the date modified in the masterpages library is the initial deployment date though, which is annoying). I've tried: 1.. Updating the version numbers of the features 2.. running stsadm -o UpgradeSolution instead of retracting, deleting, adding and redeploying the solution Any ideas?
