You need to edit the team build script for example: $/TeamProjectName/TeamBuildTypes/BuildTypeName/TFSBuild.proj Go down to the WorkItemFieldValues element and add to it: Assigned To=Whoever From memory – that should get it working the way you want. From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

when a Team Build fails, a work item is auto generated to the Account which
runs the team build. Eg. <domain>\TFSService, if you have recycled that
account.
how can this 'Assigned To' be changed on a fail, please? Cheers
