Hi Corneliu, Not sure if this is the answer, but it might help.

You can also try adding a new line to the: TFSBuild.rsp file.
/v:diag

This sets the verbosity flag that MSBuild.exe gets called with.

Subject: RE: [OzTFS] Changing logging level in a TFS build script

I'm definately not an expert on this Corneliu, but I believe this is part of
the MSBuild syntax.

as such, i've found that when the Importance="High" will anything get displayed
in the 'output' window. I'm also assuming that if it is displayed in the
'output' window, then it will be displayed in any log file.

good luck :)

Subject: [OzTFS] Changing logging level in a TFS build script

Guys,

I have a TFS script that I use to build a project.

The script is printing out some <Message Text="...." Importance="Low"/>

However these values do not appear in the log. How can I change the logging
level so I get these messages in the log?

Regards,

Corneliu I. Tusnea
