You can also try adding a new line to the: TFSBuild.rsp file. /v:diag This sets the verbosity flag that MSBuild.exe gets called with. ________________________________ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] on behalf of Justin Adler Sent: Thu 23/11/2006 3:17 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [OzTFS] Changing logging level in a TFS build script I'm definately not an expert on this Corneliu, but I believe this is part of the MSBuild syntax. as such, i've found that when the Importance="High" will anything get displayed in the 'output' window. I'm also assuming that if it is displayed in the 'output' window, then it will be displayed in any log file. good luck :) -Jussy- ________________________________ <https://owa.readify.net/exchange/Grant.Holliday/Drafts/RE:%20%5bOzTFS%5 d%20Changing%20logging%20level%20in%20a%20TFS%20build%20script.EML/1_mul tipart/StargateGroup-Logo.GIF> Justin Adler Senior Developer Stargate Group Level 4, 600 Victoria Street Richmond Victoria 3121 Telephone: 03 8420 3009 Facsimile: 03 9428 1533 www.stargatetech.com.au <http://www.stargategroup.com.au/> This message contains confidential information and is intended only for the individual named. The script is printing out some <Message Text="...." Importance="Low"/> However these values do not appear in the log. How can I change the logging level so I get these messages in the log?
