Hi Rohan,

While I can't answer your question specifically regarding documentation on the
DB structure, I thought you might like to know that there should be a powertool
called TFSServerManager coming along soon that will help gather some great data
as well.

Brian Harry has been using this tool to provide the TFS Dogfooding stats to
give you an idea of what to expect. Check out his blog post at
http://blogs.msdn.com/bharry/archive/2007/01/22/tfsservermanager-powertool.aspx

Hopefully now that Orcas Beta 1 has shipped, Brian will be able to finish off
his little project :)

Cheers

Subject: [OzTFS] Extracting Statistics from TFS

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has any experience of (or knows of any resources
around) describing the structure of the underlying databases in TFS -
especially around the work items?

I am trying to run daily / weekly queries to extract data to provide statistics
to management,

Thanks,
