I would definitely install the Team Build server as a separate machine,
you may need to install third-party dependencies or applications that
form part of your build process and you don't want these "polluting"
your TFS server. It doesn't need to be a super powerful machine because
the current version of MSBuild doesn't support multiple processors,
we're just using desktops.

Dear All,

                I'm working in enterprise company and we have
development team across the Globe, I'm planning for the physical
architecture of the TFS and I planned to set the TFS as single server
deployment with the use of Proxy server for each side to speed up the
work for the development team across different countries.

 

My Question is : Do I need a separate Team Build Server, if I set the
TFS server with Good configuration to use it as well on the same server.
