And... don't forget to regularly test your restore process.  Last thing you 
want during a real DR situation is to find you can't read the backups you've 
been creating for months.

Just follow the docco.

* Backup the databases like it says. The WSS sites are backed up in STS_Content

* Make sure you document your configuration. Server names, smtp server, from 
address, drop directory, build directory, service accounts, service account 
passwords. (none of this is essential, but it makes your life much easier for 
DR)

.... And don't forget to backup the reporting services encryption key

.... And make sure somebody knows the password for it.

                I am preparing a backup and restore plan for the TFS server and 
I want to know is it enough to backup only TFS databases ? what about the WSS 
sites ? how can I restore them in case of failover.

 

I will not use Fail-Over application tier mechanism on my plan J.

 

Any suggestions ???
