The bridge component looks great for extending TFS' reach (no more Team
Explorer install!)

Is hooking explorer up to CodePlex (or other Internet-hosted TFS
installs) going to be too sluggish to be useful though?

On a related note, a Tortoise SVN-like experience is possible with TFS
now with "Dubbelbock TFS":

Subject: [OzTFS] TortoiseSVN "bridge" to TFS

http://blogs.msdn.com/codeplex/archive/2007/05/30/codeplex-to-support-to
rtoisesvn.aspx

Does anybody else think that this is really really awesome?

Basically, it will work like this:

* Install the "bridge" component on your TFS server

* Install the TortoiseSVN client on workstations

* Use TortoiseSVN, but instead of talking to a Subversion
repository, it translates it to TFS-speak
