Out of the box TFS does not support anything like what you are hoping for. It would be possible to harness some of the API's to achieve something like what you are asking for but I have a number of reservations about the viability of this on the current release of TFS. A couple of technical challenges off the top of my head... - User accounts - Presumably your TFS instance and that of your vendor are in different domains. This would be a problem for any form of synchronisation. (Unknown accounts, trust issues, service accounts, etc) - Unique identifiers - Under the covers, TFS uses a number of unique identifiers for various things that would cause issues with things like links from work items and source control artefacts. Sorry the story isn't better. Is it possible to sync our Team Foundation Server with our vendors for source control, ie. if someone checks in source into our vendors instance of TFS, we would like that change to be reflected automatically in our instance of TFS. 2. Another of our vendors is using their own instance of TFS to keep a track of issues, we would like to reflect these issue in our instance of TFS, so we don't report issues already recorded.
