If it's WSS V3.0, you can probably get away with assigning the TFS
Administrator group a 'policy' in central administration. Policy will
override all other permissions in the sites, so if you create a policy
for that TFS Administrator group, it will give anyone in that group
clobber access to all sites. (it's been a while though.)

Subject: [OzTFS] TFS 08 and separate Sharepoint server

Hi All,

I have a quick question. We have a separate Sharepoint server from our
TFS08 install. When a Team Project is created, the Sharepoint site
(/sites/Project Name) is also created. We are having a security problem
I'm hoping someone else has faced.

The permissions on the Sharepoint site are set based on the user that
created it. So, for example, if I create a Team Project called
SampleProject, the portal (/sites/SampleProject) will only have my user
ID as the administrator.

Now, if we need to add users / administer the portal, only I can do it,
not anyone from the TFS Administrator group (it's an AD group). What I
would like to do is create the project portal with the TFS
Administrators group as the owner, but can't find any way to do this?
Or, alternatively, allow all /sites/* sites to be administered by the
TFS Administrators group, but again, can't manage to do this.

Anyone else solved this problem or know how I can resolve?

Cheers!
