Bill, I think some of the teachers in our school would be interested. Our 
9th Graders will be reading Romeo and Juliet in the new year as well. Some 
of our students read "Before We were Free", though I'm not sure if they read 
it in Spanish or English (I don't think that would matter). Because we live 
in the Dominican Republic and some of our kids parents and grandparents were 
very involved in the assasination of Trujillo, they could share a lot of 
information about what was happening here when Julia Alvarez's family 
decided to leave. Let me know what you think.
