Linda,
What a wonderful thoughtful gift to each child and their families! I
can't believe you had the time to do this during the hectic and
stressful holiday season. The parent of the child that e-mailed you must
have been so touched by not only your caring and kindness, but that you
made the time to do this. Awesome!

Thank you so much for this message. I was actually reflecting today,
wondering do I make a difference? (after getting depressed reading some
of
their writing and wondering... a parent emailed me a letter to thank me.
I
send a note to each child and parent over the holidays. It is personal,
citing things about the child and addressing goals that I might want the
child to achieve. She thanked me for my hands on approach to teaching
and
caring for the students,in and out of school. That made my day.
