Linda, What a wonderful thoughtful gift to each child and their families! I can't believe you had the time to do this during the hectic and stressful holiday season. The parent of the child that e-mailed you must have been so touched by not only your caring and kindness, but that you made the time to do this. Awesome!

I was actually reflecting today, wondering do I make a difference? (after getting depressed reading some of their writing and wondering... a parent emailed me a letter to thank me. I send a note to each child and parent over the holidays. It is personal, citing things about the child and addressing goals that I might want the child to achieve. She thanked me for my hands on approach to teaching and caring for the students,in and out of school. That made my day.
