Pam writes:   I also use the labels for conferencing.   It makes organization 
so much easier.   I hadn't thought about preprinting the label up....hmmm, I 
will have to play with that idea this quarter to tweak for next year.   I can 
see how it might make jotting notes even quicker.   It has made conferencing 
in classes of 25-30 (what class size amendment??) much easier for me to 
organize and keep current with all kiddos.   I use them for status of class 
daily 
also.   Makes for a nice back-up on those days when I really would rather spend 
5 
minutes conferencing with students or extend lesson time and skip the 
attendance.   I can tell at a glance at the day's end who was absent by looking 
at my 
status of class labels as I put them on that week's chart.
