yes--this is a great project. my students did this last year. for their final project, students chose their favorite book. They decorated a pocket folder (with no brads), wrote a short author bio, located a professional review, composed their own review, and wrote a short summary, something that didn't give away the ending.
the students seemed to enjoy doing this project. and it wasn't too difficult to grade. i'd like to do this again.
