In my district (and I encourage you to find the policy for your district
before you make a webpage), all teachers' pages must be 1 of 2 thingies (I
don't know what they are called) supported by the districe.  The two
"thingies" are dreamweaver and schoolweb.  Anyone can go through the
district webpage to get to a teacher site, but to access the forums, they
must "be added" to the class using the @lisd.net e-mail ending.  What I'm
getting at is that even though geocities is better (and probably easier), my
disctict would not apporve it for my classes to use.
