I am worried abut the coming school year and my 45 minute, (read 35-40)
classes. In ELA, I loved doing Dailies from a great source recommend here.
However, by the time I did a daily, which is Language Arts practice at its
best, and a mini lesson We have little is any time for writing. Generally we
continue the next day but I like to strike "While the Griddle is Hot" Many
kids lose the flow from the lesson. I have decided to only do dailies twice
a week this year...How do the rest of you set up classes.

P.S. I don't have this problem in Math where we start each class with a math
minute....But I do have it with Social Studies
