I guess I think it has been dealt with, very clearly.  You have a
relationship with this boy and if it you feel his apologies to be sincere
and his behavior an exception to the rule, then I would tend to say it is
done with.  His embarrassment, his genuine tears (if you judge them to be
so) and his illness...    Sometimes the consequences are simply enough.
