Hi! I think it's a fantastic idea. Here are a few thoughts. - What writing standards are they yet to meet this year (if any), and could those be shared with them so they can come up with a plan to ensure they are met in this context? - What about the evaluation piece - will they design their own evaluation system (rubric, checklist, etc.), will it be uniform for the group, what role (if any) will you play? - How will they share what they're doing with the full group - an occasional reading, or literary magazine, or something of the sort? - Will they still be available as peer editors to others in the group?
Please keep us updated - it's a cool idea, and we'd love to see how it goes.
