It might be a good idea to put in the docs somewhere how to type man ntpd or whatever in terminal. That would save having to write all up all the programs you might find accessing the network. It would still leave a need for an explanation of things like "Allow TCP connections to multicast address" but these are more finite.

But realize that LS is not for beginners.

The developer in my view bends over backwards to help, but LS is a very complex and powerful tool. And some of the questions are, for example, similar to asking Microsoft to tell you what a formula is when you buy Excel. If you don't know, Excel isn't your tool; and in the case of LS, while Karl DOES help and has never complained, in truth it's a power-user's tool.
