On the Tips&Tricks page on Littlesnitchs website it mentions that "...... only deny those connections you don't like e.g. connections to port 80 or connections to some bad hosts. But you expressly allow port 80. How's that?

I have 5 rules set for Az and any bittorrent app I use.

app allow tcp ports 1030-65535
app allow udp ports1030-65535
app allow tcp port 80
app allow udp port 80
app deny any ports 1-1029

Granted I could prolly cut it down to 3 but I like the granularity.

Hi,

I installed Azureus (a P2P program) and made the mistake of starting it. Of course it started to give me endless dialogs to accept.

Now, I'm not too good at these things so I took a look at the website and there it said that one could deny access to port 80 (not that I know what that does) and som bad hosts (I surely don't know what they would be). Then, if I understood correctly, to allow all access in all modes. I guess the deny rule would still work?

Any other good ideas on the subject?

cheers,
henrik
