GISVM?
Hello Cameron and Osgeo team,
After screening all the mails till now , we have listed out the issues
mentioned by osgeo members.
Some of the issues we have already fixed in multilayer gisvm. They are
1. There are no icons for deegree
2. There is no mapserver icon
3. The "Start Mapnik & TileLite" icon is missing
4. There is no "MapTiler" icon
5. #494: Remove screen saver on click2try image
6. #495: click2try VM user/password should be same as LiveDVD
Pending issues to be fixed and we are trying to fix it. If you have
any information please let us know
1. GeoNetwork - it doesn't work
2. The desktop icon using launchassist.sh is rigged specifically to the
password user on the sudo command. That's probably why it didn't work.
Developers who are re-testing, can do modification as they want on
click2try image (Vm) and please let us know the changes to fix them
permanently.
How to access gisvm:
URL http://www.click2try.com
user id : osgeo
password : livedemo
Once logged in, navigate to My Dashboard -> Applications Manager. You will see
a VM named osgeo-gisvm20-2. Hilite that and click the red LAUNCH button. This
will connect you to the VM
Gnome Desktop user credentials:
user id : user
password : user
One another point, this running vm is build using
"branches/arramagong_2" and please find below errors (got while
Installation)

it looks like I don't have the permissions to svn upate
install_mapfish.sh in /usr/loca/share/gisvm/bin. Were you thinking
about something else?

Hi
Mapfish isn't installed properly in the click2try virtual machine. The
virtual machine was installed before Hamish did an important change to
install_mapfish.sh it seems. What should we do?
