that was the first thing I did when I got rc9
you get a text prompt (kind of ugly)
but then you get the "blue face on the right" menu screen
and it boots right up
btw- I used half-speed write to burn the DVD
results in fewer coasters..
I did not get a chance to install to HD from it, though

I tried but could not boot or mount the burn. When adding the ISO to
a data DVD project in k3b it showed 89mb under the limit. I don't know
if a direct iso fs burn has to be smaller than that or not though, or
if
the local burn went bad. ??
