I don't think fslint has anything to do with this. Wouldn't it simply be
that the files on the iso (which are read only) and in the home directory
are not actually copied to the ramdrive but just get a symlink there. It
makes sense in many cases (eg datasets).
This also explains why there are no issues on the virtual machine.
