To date, I've been keeping the text for the OSGeo-Live presentation
separate, in osgeolive_taster_script.txt
However, Barry has been mentioning some ideas which make sense about
decompressing the openoffice file (which apparently is just a zip file),
and us maintaining (and translating) the notes page instead.

I think you mentioned something about using stylesheets to create HTML
versions of the docs as well.

I've seen other formats too. Roald trialled using prezi:

So my underlying question to everyone is: "Should we improve how to
store our OSGeo-Live presentation"
I think our selection criteria is something like:
1. Documentation is easy to maintain and we can easily track small
changes. (Ie text rather than commits to subversion)
2. It is easy to create a translation of the text. This probably means a
separate file for text, so the text can be translated.
3. It can be stored in a format that is readily available at conference
venues, and can be used offline
4. Optionally can be translated to other presentation formats - eg PDF,
HTML, ...
