Angelos,
I see you point there however,

1 - I am not sure how much effort will take to have the common dataset loaded
(if it not there already) and that will probably also limit demonstration
domains
2 - Keeping the current size is indeed an option but the issue is that it
didn't get loaded at all (still looking into the root cause of that)

As a final thought we have choice number 3: since OSGEOLive is growing with
many projects and as new applications come out they will require even more
space, why do not go directly for an 8GB target that would fit both recent DVD
and USB sticks (and users will be happy to continue using such an usb stick
afterwards and will likely bring around the live logo on it).

Hi Alan,

In past releases the rasdaman demonstration data were reduced on purpose
(in collaboration with rasdaman members) because we are really very
short of disk space.

Right now we are at 3.5G which is near our up limit for creating a
bootable USB stick.
So I believe that there are 2 choices:

1. to get rasdaman to use the common dataset (natural earth etc)
2. to keep the same size of rasdaman datasets as they are now. If you
wish to change the data, it is ok, as soon as the target size is the
same as before.

Thoughts?
