I fully accept that old versions are not supported, but that wasn't what I was asking. As this is a random occurrence, it's not falsifiable. All I can see is that "it has broken" or "it hasn't broken YET".

We also tested with VLC (in interleaved mode) and 2014-12-09 and we have not yet seen this issue after 24 hours. I have absolutely no interest in whether or not old versions of our software work OK, because old versions are not supported. Just to clarify: Does "openRTSP" - using the latest version of our software - work OK with this server (camera)? If so, then there is no issue. If, however, "openRTSP" - using the latest version of our software - has a problem with this server, then please post the complete RTSP diagnostic output (printed by "openRTSP" to stderr) to this mailing list, and I'll take a look at it.
