Vern, We have the ITR Hurricane Heater II this has a 15 gph fuel pump. However the need for height and warmth should be solvable by just putting it above the heater inlet in a warm out of the way place in a heated area. Hardest part of this I see is not so much losing the siphon, it would be stopping the fuel flow if the pilot light went out in my opinion. Of course adding a small feul pump would change things a bit.

Do you run it from a top draw or bottom draw tank because that could make all of the difference in the world.
