Kept quiet till now, but politics plays a big role in where we can anchor,
where we can fish, where we can pump out, where we can sail (motor for the
unfortunate), and many other aspects of livaboard life.
We also need to discuss the latest toys and gadgets that make life aboard more
pleasant. While we don't need vendors trying to sell us lies to get us to buy
their products, I for one would love for some chandler to let me know they have
a new pronautic C3 60 amp charger that I'm dying to buy for $100 less then
Defender without tax or shipping.
The internet is still free and relatively unpoliced, just like we want our
lives aboard our boats to be unrestricted. Right Norm. Long live
Margaritaville.
So Rit, if you see a topic that doesn't interest you, vote with your delete key.

Subject: [Liveaboard] Lower the flags
IMHO
This list is for and about boats and the tricks of the trade we all learn.
Ours is a unique database and one that does not have room for political
statements.
As a member of this list for many years I'd like to implore other members to
refrain from posting ANYTHING that has to do with ANYTHING other than boats and
those tricks of the trade.
we've got enough problems with the recent move to this .org platform and I'm
assuming we've lost quite a few members because of the move. Hopefully they
will return.
So again I implore you to simply leave your flag at home when you log in here.
