Phil, It has to "work with" the video card. In other words there may be requirements for "overlay" or other software stuff that makes my AIW 9000 Pro not compatible with the ATI TV Wonder 650 PCI TV tuner card. For instance it needs the video card to have "DirectX 9.0 or higher compatibility". The AIW 9000 Pro does NOT have that ability so I need a new video card...
Etc, etc., etc. You know the standard computer statement, "If you already HAVE it, it is NOT compatible with the NEW stuff you want".
