He got one cylinder to fire once. I showed him your email and he went off to check those items. Personally from what I’ve observed I think he has to be more aggressive with his cranking duration. There is fuel to all 6 fuel lines where they enter the block so I think cranking the hell out of it would clear the injectors. Bob Bob, The Fords like to let in air on the top of the two secondary filters on the engine, there is a brass washer under the nut/bolt ...I have substituted nylon washers from ace hdwe to get me outa there. Have also seen where they put in the wrong seals (square) on those filters and they will not seal, Just remember BLUE sky...ergo up.... in addition some of the filters are incorrect in that they actually block the flow to the injector pump. I am assuming that this person realizes that if he changed filters and then this started he has created his own headaches....Its one of those...why would you do all these other things if you knew ...yadda yadda Its like lawn mowers that won't start...has to be an adjustment even though it ran fine last time, and all I did was leave the gas in it for six months. >From reading the mail he may now have to really be cranking to clear the injectors of air. Don't suppose by any chance something has climbed into his exhaust hose and plugged it, or a flap won't open?? Cranking requires you to watch the water lift muffler, if full that engine literally will not start. Figure a max of a minute to fill it. In some extreme cases (takes two people) I have shut off the raw water while cranking to bleed and have a second person on the inlet valve, when it starts to kick turn it on. I wish everyone luck, including those that got roped in. :>) Carl BTW the big problem with extended cranking is that it tears up the starters which were basically designed to crank for perhaps 15 seconds. and then shut down for a corresponding cool off time. The party may know that fact. **************Start the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape. http://body.aol.com/fitness/winter-exercise?NCID=aolcmp00300000002489
