chatVern, I may be in a minority here but I suspect most folks aren't on line
for a sufficiently long enough time to "chat" so I'm not sure the benefit would
outweigh the hassle of setting it up.
Speaking for myself, my usual drill is to log on to this email (my personal as
opposed to business email) two or three times a day at most to check what
topics are in discussion and either chime in or delete and then disconnect. If
I posted a question, or replied to a question or comment, I'll find out the
answer several hours later when I check in again.
There may be some folks who have their "list" email on all day but I don't
think that's the majority.
