We made the trip last year with a draft of 5 feet and a air draft of 48
feet. The only bridge we were concerned with was the railway bridge at Port
Mayaca with a height of 49 feet. The water levels were low and at the west
side of the lake we had only inches under us. We waited for calm weather to
cross. Right now they show a depth of 4.19 feet for route 1 and a depth of
1.59 feet for route 2. A nice trip but watch out for all the alligators.
