If you have a sailboat with a 60 foot mast, and the bridge is 50 feet, it may not seem low to someone in a sport fish, but it is too low for the sailboat. There used to be people who would hang barrels of water from the top of the mast to make the boat heel enough to get under the bridge. In Norm's case though it is his boat's keel depth that is going to be the limiting factor, and not his air draft. > >> Circumnavigating S.
