I went to Dell website at the complains page and there are hundreds of 
consumers had the same problem with dell. I had a home build custom on acer 
body and it the battery was just fine after two years when I sold it. Dell 
would not even answer my email requests.
On the other hand my Dell Axim 51v PDA runs fine after three years.
