Two other more expensive candidates are the Brompton and the Bike Friday. The first is a very good UK bike with built in suspension.
The last is a line of innovative performance folders (they can tow the bike case as a trailer), the touring or racing models would be suitable for long distance fast riding over varied terrine. Don't forget the single most important thing for efficiency and comfort over a longer distance is proper fit (NOT achieved with cheap bikes) and next most important is weight. Both make much more of a difference than you would believe if you did not know, but then again how many would try for commuting by running in heavy ill fitting leather boots? -Ken _______________________________________________ Liveaboard mailing list [email protected] To adjust your membership settings over the web http://www.liveaboardnow.org/mailman/listinfo/liveaboard To subscribe send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] The archives are at http://www.liveaboardnow.org/pipermail/liveaboard/ To search the archives http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] The Mailman Users Guide can be found here http://www.gnu.org/software/mailman/mailman-member/index.html
