Hello All,
A few days ago I talked with the Microsoft service tech that had told me not
to try to install Internet Explorer version 7 on a XP system that had the
Service Pack 3 installed. He said the problem had been resolved and it was now
safe to install IE7 on my computer.
I did so Thursday. After using it for 3 days (I was out of town Friday and
Saturday) I felt completely comfortable with it, so I just finished cloning my
C: drive to a backup drive for safety.
I can report that there have been no problems at all. No boot-up issues, no
lost files, nothing wrong at all.
I think Microsoft may have actually fixed this problem!
OK now back to your original program...
